Dubai's New Theatre of Digital Art
Fully immerse yourself in art works from some of the world’s most famous artists, including Monet and Van Gogh.
Dubai’s Theatre of Digital Art opened in the emirate recently and with it, a fully-immersive and interactive art experience that is bound to deepen our appreciation for the work and lives of some of the world’s greatest artists.
From Kandinsky to Monet
The new exhibition allows visitors to walk around, and within, digital versions of famous pieces of art. This is created by combining virtual reality, light technology and music. Titled ‘From Kandinsky to Monet’ the exhibition purposefully remasters and represents classical pieces of work in a truly modern way.
Throughout its 45-minute duration, this exciting and futuristic multimedia show takes visitors through masterpieces by Van Gogh, Monet, Kandinsky, Seurat, Cezanne, Munch, Gris, Delauney and Klee. Examples of the works included are - Munch’s Scream, Van Gogh’s Starry Night and Blossoming Almond Tree, as well as Monet’s Water Lilies.

Alongside this multimedia experience, the venue will also include a number of classes and displays or artefacts relating to the art works on display. The venue is currently able to accommodate 120 visitors at a time, although its eventual maximum capacity is set to be 500. It’s current space covers 1,800 km and it can be found at Souk Madinat Jumeirah. It is open from 12 noon to 11pm daily.
The space has been designed to help further Dubai’s position as a leader in the arts across the Middle East, and to promote cultural and art education in the UAE and wider region.
Vonder recently opened our newest co-living in Dubai location - designed to be the perfect place to live in this Emirate city.
