Not Your Usual Festival - FT Weekend Festival September 2021

Feel like lockdowns not only got you down, but dimmed your passion and curiosity too? Looking for something more stimulating than binge-watching another must-see Netflix series?

If so, the FT Weekend Festival held on the first Saturday in September (on the 4th) might be just what you need to shake off the lockdown cobwebs and re-engage with the world of politics, art, food and fashion.

This year’s one day event will be held over 8 stages under the banner of - ‘The Reimagining: Imagining a post-pandemic world.’

Some of the UK’s leading lights in arts, culture, politics and science will be sharing their work, opinions and intellect.

Stand out attendees this year include Booker prize winning author Ian McEwan, historian Simon Schama, poet Inua Ellams and scientist Sarah Gilbert who developed the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine. There will also be live cookery demos throughout the day and food drinks to keep you refreshed while you fill your mind and soul with new ideas and arguments.
