Ready, Set, Sweat: A Guide to Vonder’s Fitness Classes

It's that time of year again when we all make grandiose promises to ourselves to shed those pesky holiday pounds and get fit as a fiddle. But let's be real, by February our gym memberships will be collecting dust. But fear not, we’ve got you covered right in the comfort of your own co-living space.

Research shows that as many as 80% of people who sign up for a gym membership will quit within the first five months. The most common excuse? The gym is too inconvenient and out of the way. Not many of us have the dedication to head out in the cold and dark early in the morning, or late in the evening after a long day of work. It's like the universe is conspiring against us, trying to keep us sedentary and doughy. But fear not, we have the answer for you.

When it comes to sticking to a gym routine, location is key. Studies have shown that people are more likely to regularly attend a gym that is close to their home or work. But what if it IS in your home, (and work if you make use of our shared office space). Proximity makes it easier to fit a workout into a busy schedule and eliminates the excuse of not having enough time to travel to the gym. At Vonder, you’re able to take a break and do a quick workout without the inconvenience. Lets see what we have on offer:

Co-living Warsaw UpRiver:

Mondays: Muay Thai - A martial art and combat sport that originated in Thailand that utilizes the hands, feet, elbows, and knees for striking and clinching techniques.

Wednesdays: Morning training, Ashtanga yoga, Yin yoga - Yin yoga is a meditative and slow-paced style of yoga that focuses on deep stretches and relaxation, targeting the connective tissue and joints to increase flexibility and balance the body's energy flow.

Thursdays: Ashtanga yoga for beginners - Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and physically demanding style of yoga that follows a specific sequence of postures, synchronized with breath, to build strength, flexibility and mental focus.

Co Living London Hill House:

This location is offering pilates and yoga classes every other week - Pilates and yoga are both forms of exercise that offer a wide range of physical and mental benefits. Both practices can help to improve flexibility, strength, balance and posture, as well as reduce stress and anxiety. They provide a holistic approach to physical fitness that incorporates the mind-body connection, promoting overall well-being.
