Celebrating Women’s Day at Vonder

This Women’s Day we celebrated our female residents with two different events held at Vonder Wembley and Hill House.

Who doesn’t love the smell of freshly brewed coffee? For this reason, we kicked off the special day at our Hill House community with steaming coffee and put a smile on the faces of our female residents by handing out beautiful red and white flowers. For just like a flower, a woman's spirit radiates throughout the world and deserves to be celebrated. 

At Hill House co living London apartment block, amongst other amenities is a communal roof terrace with spectacular views of the London Skyline. This offers the perfect space for morning yoga sessions or evening drinks with friends. And furthermore, this enables residents to create their own community with their neighbours, something we at Vonder strive to achieve and assist with by offering events such as the ones held for International Women’s Day.

Later in the day we took the celebrations over to our Wembley community. Morgan Harper Nichols whose work is centered around the question "how can we create connection?" once said “Tell the story of the mountain you climbed. Your words could become a page in someone else’s survival guide". This quote truly encompasses what we set out to achieve at our special event at Vonder Wembley. 

We thank the women who joined and shared their stories with us. There is always power in bravely sharing our stories - it is a way for women to connect, inspire and educate. Tamara Yasin, our special yoga, fitness and mindfulness coach shared her wellness practices for life, and our selected crowd of guests took part in the event, sharing stories and facts about themselves and exploring the themes of inclusivity, wellness and relationships.

This inspiring event took place in our exclusive Sky Members Lounge on the 14th floor of our Wembley block. Vonder's all-in-one living concept at Vonder Wembley boasts beautifully designed apartments.
