Vonder Stands in Solidarity with the People of Ukraine

In times of crisis, it is the kindness of others that shines a light in the darkness.

As sirens continue to ring out amid Russia’s attack on Ukraine, thousands of Ukrainian residents have been forced to flee their homes. Some are fleeing with children, pets, and elderly relatives. Some have sentimental items and the bare minimum hurriedly packed into suitcases. But many of these people do not even know where they are heading, they just know they need to get out.

With more than 800 000 refugees from Ukraine having crossed into neighbouring countries, and a clear indication that many more people are on the move in search of safety, protection, and assistance, the devastation is vast and the situation looks set to become Europe's largest refugee crisis in the last 100 years.

In light of the emergency and paramount humanitarian needs of refugees, Vonder is stepping up and offering what we hope will be a helpful contribution. We are providing immediate free accommodation solutions in a Vonder all-in-one living apartment in different locations and cities around the world. Reach out to us at supportukraine@vondereurope.com if you or someone you know needs accommodation assistance due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

We at Vonder stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and continue to be inspired by them, as they remain courageous, resilient, and determined for peace and a future without war. We have been devastated by the news and images coming out of Ukraine, and our thoughts go to all Ukrainian families and civilians that are being affected, we hope that our contribution will help ease the suffering.

As Robert Ingersoll said, ‘We rise by lifting others’. During these hard times, Vonder and many other organisations have come forward to do just that. Ukraine has received a surge in donations from companies and the strength of kindness during these dark times has been inspiring to see.

Let us all rise to the aid of those in need and offer what we can. If you are looking to donate to verified fundraisers to help the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, GoFundMe recently launched a centralized hub, take a look here.
