After 70 years of service, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. It’s time for communities around the UK to celebrate!
With currently 2,429 public events and 2,579 street parties or private events planned, you will not struggle to find something to do to join in the celebrations this long weekend, running from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June.
Let's take a closer look at what's happening in the neighbourhoods of our Vonder all inclusive living UK locations.
Vonder Wembley
Dust off your dance shoes and join the Wembley Park Jubilee Dance Party taking place on June 4th from 12.00pm to 07.00pm. They'll be transforming the neighbourhood into a giant street party with free and live music. There’ll be face painters, bubbleologists, circus acts, stilt walkers, street dancers and more!
Vonder Skies and Vonder Village
Brentford Voice is hosting a picnic in the park on Saturday, June 4th. The picnic will be taking place in St Paul’s Recreation Ground, Brentford between 12 – 5pm, and is open to the public and free.
Vonder Hill
The closest event taking place to Vonder Hill House is a Jubilee Street party hosted by Alexander Road Community. This is on June 4th from 12.00pm. Take note that this event is only open to Alexander Road residents and those invited by them.
Don’t know someone living on Alexander Road? No problem, take a 5 minute drive to Hungerford Road street party taking place on the 2nd. The event is hosted by Rosemary Silver and is open to the public.
The address is 48-62 Hungerford Road N7 9LA. Bring a cake to share for the bake off competition, bring a photo of your pet to display, and bring a bottle to share.
Vonder Kew
Strand on the Green Platinum Jubilee Celebration hosted by Strand on the Green Association and Grove Park Group is taking place on the 5th June between 12.00pm and 06.00pm and is open to lovers of Strand on the Green. The event is in a beautiful location with music, retro-entertainment including Morris Dancing and Horse & Dray rides. Food and drink will be on sale or pack a picnic to enjoy in the sunshine.
Vonder Shoreditch
The nearest activity to Vonder Shoreditch taking place is a Family Fun Day Hosted by St Mary Islington, happening on the 4th June at 1pm. There will be bouncy castles, face-painting, treasure hunt, craft activities and a free forecourt café serving afternoon tea.
Vonder Draycott
Come and join the celebrations at St Simon Zelotes church, with a special service of music and readings followed by drinks and festive refreshments. All are very welcome and there will be games and activities for children. This event is taking place on June 5th at 10:30am.
On the same day between 11am and 5pm is a street party very near the walls of Buckingham Palace, hosted by Belgravia Traders Association. There will be entertainment, trestle tables, carriage rides and more. Plus a food court in Eccleston Yards for all to enjoy.
Vonder Riverside - Leeds
Join the Jubilee Barbecue grill party taking place on the 7th June between 01.00pm and 05.45pm, being hosted by Gesipr Community hub cafe. Food and drinks will be sold at affordable prices.
